So I started my training for the Sport Relief Mile (3 miles) up Keele on 25th March, a couple of weeks ago.
Here’s a just a quick update on how things are going in preparation.
Monday – 50 lengths of 30 metre swimming pool.
Tuesday – 350 sit ups and 3 reps of lifting 30kg on lateral pull down bar.
Wednesday – 20 minutes mixed jogging and walking – 10 minutes on the cross trainer manual setting.
Thursday – 450 sit ups and 3 reps of lifting 30kg on lateral pull down bar.
Friday – 10 minutes mixed light jogging and walking – 20 minutes on the cross trainer manual setting.
Saturday – 45 minute sports massage to relieve some stiffness and tension in right hip.
Sunday – 4 mile walk around Westport Lake, which took 48 minutes.
