As I’m sure you’re aware I’m always late to the party when it comes to popular and ‘the next best thing’, so as the series concluded last night I must saying how much I am enjoying the Sleepy Hollow TV series.
Leave your disbelief at the door for the show which depicts Ichabod Crane transported 250 years into the modern day Sleepy Hollow, with plenty going on including the small matter of the impending potential apocalyse.
It’s all played very tongue in cheek, with Crane struggling to adapt to modern life and all of its vices.
After an encounter with the Headless Horsemen, who featured in the 1999 film starring Johnny Depp, he teams up with local cop Abbey Mills who has a few skeletons in her closet including her institutionalised sister.
If you’re after a fun horror show which isn’t anywhere near as gory as say The Following or Hannibal then Sleepy Hollow could be the place to be.
