So anyone who knows me, knows that I am huge John Carpenter fan.
His films and his music during his golden period in the 70’s and 80’s for me is simply unmatched.
Luckily the master himself shared some links earlier today to a new album he is releasing two weeks called ‘Lost Themes’ which incorporates music Carpenter created but was eventually never used on any of his projects.
On the evidence on the two tracks I have just listened to the, the melancholic ‘Night’ and the spellbinding ‘Vortex’ I have no idea why?
It’s vintage Carpenter with the synthesiser very prominent throughout, but the bass especially on ‘Vortex’ is instantly memorable.
